Hamadryads diary- a new chapter

1. First are these clitocybes, least i think they are clitocybes! at frst I thought they where growing in line with lime roots but found the roots where in fact larix decidua, the european larch

2. Whilst looking about the ash root plate i found these little ascomycetes on cow dung

3. another little saprobic group unkown

 

Tony,

1. Lactarius species (whitish milk) ? If not, Clitocybe gibba.

2. Probably a Cheilymenia/Coprobia species such as C. granulata.

3. Might be Psathyrella spadicea.

Tony,

certainly wasnt a milky one, so will accept gibba, new from the get go it was a clitocybe:thumbup1:

1 : Entoloma (Leptonia) species

2 : Clitocybe metachroa

3/7/15 : Cystoderma amianthinum

4 : Entoloma (Leptonia) species

5 : Armillaria species

6 : Camarophyllus niveus/russocoriaceus

8/10 : Trichoglossum hirsutum

9 : Galerina pumila

11 : Hygrocybe psittacina

12/14 : Collybia butyracea

13 Mycena pura

It was my last day on this site so i made the most of it and went to work on the place!:lol: Its a wonderful site, a 300 year old cottage/farmstead called Cherrytree farm, complete with old orchards. lots of paddocks with old unimproved grass too:001_cool: I would have killed to live in such a place.

2) Mycena flavoalba ?

3/10) Collybia butyracea

4) Clavulinopsis cf. helveola

5/6) Galerina species (orange brown spores) or Mycena aurantiomarginata (white spores)

8/9) Xerocomus (= Boletus) rubellus ?

12) Russula cf. ochroleuca

Thanks for the above Gerrit.

 

I have given up making assumptions on these ramaria sp will have to get my scopes to get to grips with many of the fungi, this one here on Thuja stump. A white with quite pink gills on macrocarpa stump. And finaly panic australe and Armillaria mellea fruiting for their lives on this very poorly prunus.:thumbdown:
