Don't think it's luck.

 

Our logs are dryer than most other suppliers and we are not looking to do huge amounts so don't need that many customers. Also no VAT to add.

 

I would of thought softwood for £70 should work out well for you. It's cheaper, easier to process and I would have thought your softwood at £70 V our hardwood at £95 would be similar kWh per £.

£70 is for 50/50 hard/soft so atm that's ash/oak/beech and larch/douglas/mac mix. Guaranteed below 25% m/c. No vat.

Did you sell out last year? If yes I would just try charging more. You probably would lose a few customers but then you make more on what you do sell to make up for it.

 

All easy for me to say as I don't know your customers but might be worth a try :thumbup:
