I'm sorry to hear that. Losing a close friend isn't easy.

 

I get the horrors whenever I see loose dogs near machinery or vehicles. Even the best trained dog can get easily distracted by exciting things for dogs or have a dumb moment.

 

It's what leads and locked cabs are for.

sorry to hear that tim, i had to have my oldest spaniel put to sleep last week, best working dog i've ever had, i forget and still put a food bowl out for her when i feed the others.

Sorry for you matey, i take my dog with me as much as poss, but she is now blind and stays in the van. I think it is now a comfort for her to be in the van as she knows shes safe in there and near me, if you get my meaning.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I work mine on a shoot and another guys dog nearly got ran over, so now any vehicles moving I make mine sit. For some reason people don't take the same care when driving off road.

 

End of the summer and it's dogging in pheasants again from a quad and this year with the new dog as well, always worries me working near roads.

 

If I leave mine in the pickup for a while if I can't find a shady place I have the windows part open and a desert camo net over the roof to keep it cool.
