We can supply you with a crane and rotator and log grab from new if you would be interested. We dont usually supply trailers but we have quoted another customer today for a crane grab and trailer. If interested please call 0844 770 7979.

Yeah,thats me - although I think tree surgeon might be stretching it a bit,more glorified(!) leylandii removals !

 

I might be on the lookout for a new yard myself soon - be interested to hear how you get on with the planning/change of use business,lots of under used agri land around here

 

If you do have to shift it I'm sure that Tery will be able to sort you out.

After speaking to the to the planning solicitor it turns out that the council are right and you do need permission to import and process wood. He said we stand a better chance of getting permission for a wood yard if it's in the woods in the first place. His advice was to just try and keep on the good side of them, start moving the wood with a trailer and see how we get on. Then apply for permission to start a wood yard in our woods.

 

Thanks for all the help to everyone who has tried to help. I think were just going to start moving it with a trailer, a little bit a time. Then if I come across anyone who has the ability to move it get them to do it.

 

I'd also like to look for a proper yard round our way so if you hear of anything let me know. Ill give you a wave if I see you.
