FREE places on BS3998 seminars in Wales

The Arb Association’s very well received road show of seminars on the new ‘BS 3998; 2010 Tree Work – Recommendations’ comes to Wales on 5th and 6th July. These two events are funded through the ‘Focus on Forestry First’ funding scheme, supported by the Welsh Assembly Government. Delegates can benefit from 100% funded places; you do not have to be resident in Wales. All you have to do is download a booking form from the AA website and send it in, complete with your details and bank card details. AA will take a card payment on deposit of £50.00 + VAT (£60) which will only be processed if you do not attend the event. This assures us of filling the event and not wasting any places by those who might not bother to turn up. If you book and attend the event, you will pay nothing!

Places are limited, so don’t delay– first come, first served.!

5th July – Wrexham, North East Wales

6th July – Carmarthen, South Wales

Went to the Carmarthen seminar on bs3998 yesterday, very well presented, thanks to dom and Peter. Very worthwhile taking the trip up to attend, lots of interesting stuff in the new version, thanks to steve for the heads up on the event, was a very good turnout, bout 60 odd people there! Good to see plenty of guys showing an interest in how the industry is moving forwards, just a shame bs still want to charge so much for the hard copy.

Thanks again to those who organised it all..

Ditto the above comments, a great turnout and a super day, thanks to all involved who arranged the day.

Also thanks for the people who showed an interested in helping giving the Wales branch of the AA a bit of a relaunch.

Rob.
