posts every 2.4 meters allow £4.00 each,50m of stock wire is near £50 a go now, box of staples is £30.00 so just over £4800 in material, leaves you £2350 for labour, yeah id go £4.50 per metre

You shouldnt be too far out with the prices mentioned here I reckon.

 

Cambridgeshire isnt exactly renknown for its stock farming but we charge anywhere between £4 and £6/m supplied and installed depending on length of run, changes in direction, slopes, access etc etc.

it all depends upon your style of fencing, size of your strainers, do you use 'H' style or simply strut them? do you have strand of barbed below the stock net as well, is your timber treated, will there need to be extra strainers for curves or bends, job to be done by hand or machine? and most important of all ground conditions as this will effect time scale on the job...

 

not forgetting size of posts, 6' or 5,6'?
