Pack in ice at the end of your work day for 1 hour, ibuprofen 150 mg every 8 hours physical therapy if it is in the budget? More than any thing else, really take it easy.

Thanks to a Drunk driver I nearly bought it 12 years ago and the doc in the Emergency room told me I came as close to dislocation of my left shoulder as I could with out reaching that point. Really painful best I remember. Take Care.

Get inflamation down first ice packs at least three times a day and pop some ibuprofen.Once inflamation has died down and normal range of motion is restored then strengthen your rotator cuff muscles and upper back muscles. All exercises will be on YouTube to help instruct you.Could be a muscular imbalance aswell between pushing muscles an pulling,if you climb alot that could be a contributing towards your pulling muscles being Stronger than your pushing ones

I'd advise a trip to good physio aswell pref a sport therapist who deals with active people,as usually alot of scar tissue can build up in shoulder with repeat dislocations

Thanks Yeti , im pretty sure it is muscular - when thinking about what i lift at the gym im only benching 115-120 kg but deadlifting 210kg , and recently been concentrating on shoulders more ie lots of heavy shruggs . just thinking this could have been a big factor in it .
