HI ALL thanks for that yes lorry i run 25ins bar on the old ms660 with 660 use too much petrol too use on a 16/18ins bar thanks all jon :thumbup:

 

Haha gonna try and 18 on my 3120 at some point for a laugh

never seen a 16" 084 bar over here :(

 

 

but i have two 17" :) both the oregon and a stihl rollomatic ES

 

do you run yours on .404 or 3/8 as by the looks of them they are set for speed cutting

i use a 660 on a 20" bar, havnt put the 18 on it yet as i didnt think there wwas much difference. used it for cutting yew earlier this year and it was spot on. loads of power.

To get the use from my 660 it lives with a 20"bar. Brilliant. Did a couple days site clearance, all willow and the odd syccie, was flying through. Forearms were burning at the end of the day!

 

I do plan to change the sprocket to make it run quicker and change the standard exhaust for the dual port muffler.

As mentioned before, 20 inch on the 66 is cracking, thats all i used for 2 months on a big site clearance last year... I had arms like popeye when we were finished.
