Husky or Stihl

I've done hundreds of hours of milling with an 088. It's a very good saw and does the job well, though like with any chainsaw milling, the vibrations limit it to being an occasional activity.

I haven't tried the 3120, but I don't know anyone who mills with them.

i would say that your dealer is very important we have a stihl dealer one mile away but and i would buy from or even give them a saw to them as they are very bad and do not have any parts in stock ever, so i am stuck with huskey and it will be that way it has been for years but i would buy a stihl but it is the back up so i am a husky man. i would say it is the dealer who you whant to deal with is what you go for.

I think that milling is such a harsh job for a saw that the machine is more important than the dealer in this case. :001_smile:

It is harsh and that is why i would say that a good dealer that is also good at fixing them is important as you would have less down time. as there is not much in the husky stihl argument as they are both good saws and robust yes you do what power wbut with backup
