A real stinker of a macrocarpa today!

On a bank in the neighbours garden, small river below then a steep bank and then an assortment of shrubs to top it off-Photos don't do it justice!

So tried out a few lowering methods...Only got a couple pics before getting up.Worked really well and saved a fair bit of time What'd you think?

i have thought of doing similar before on conifers before but never got round to trying it out, but looks like it worked well, how did it cope with timber though? be interested to see some more pics

At first glance I saw a giant pair of long johns, at a second more detailed look I saw a giant pair of long johns.

Was mostly just a bit of experimenting, its made of rubber coated canvass so is real tough-Handled good sized rings fine. The branches were snedded on the tree then lowered later as they were staying at the base of the tree.

If it saves time/damaged then it's a good thing!
