I have used the new stihl T AND R versions the engines are always an ass to start they conk out any one else had any problems with these.

 

Also the ms200t carbs are still 08 crap ??>

 

 

Yep allways cuts out and keep knocking the on/off switch off.

im sure my local repair shop uses a grinder for sharpening chains, could be wrong though.

 

My stihl R cutter is a bit of a **** to start need to keep giving it some choke on and off to get it reving

 

They are bodging then, they should be sharpening it on a rig, why pay for pro sharpening if they aren't taking the exact amount of material of each cutter and making them even. Why pay for a bodge job when you can bodge them yourself.

 

If you are having to use choke to get the cutters revving then adjust the jets. People should really learn how to fine tune the H & L jets.

 

There's so many saying the same thing, my cutters or saws wont rev or have got a flat spot, the manufacturer then gets a bad name when al it is is ten seconds of fine tuning.
