Going to standard head cap screw would mean your blades would cost more each as the blades would have to be thinker which also means the anvil would have to move, which would mean a different flywheel and casing which would then also throw out backwards compatibility of parts with all the past TW150.

Two points when welding site equipment,

1 Make sure you disconnect the battery, as you don't want it to explode.

2 Keep the earth clamp as close to work area, as you don't want to be changing bearings that have run the arc across (through) the rolling elements.

so Dean

did the guy

a Put them in with a torque wrench set to 40Lb

b replace them last time even though they had some damage

c use a half knackered Torx bit

d Fit with no copper grease

e not clean out the head before trying to undo

f all of the above:confused1:

I have done loads of blade changes over many years and never had any issues.

I am not saying they are idiot proof or could not be improved upon.

but if your sensible they are ok:thumbup:

need to check but I torque them up to 66lbs

I remember that being correct but could be wrong.

Just to make sure as undertightening could have repercussions as overtightening would.

I better check my manual.

We're tree guys but if anything ever goes wrong- the'd be repercussions on something like this:blushing:
