254 exhaust

The exhaust is great, its the saw thats crap!!

 

Get a Stihl!!

your a good man, nice to see a loyal Husky man.

From memory I'm not sure if you can split/open the exhaust, maybe worth brazing whatever is loose if you cant find another but sure to be one out there somewhere.

You should be able to pick up a second hand or pattern part for around £20, you may be able to find another saw using the same part that is interchangeable.

 

These are great saws and still cut the mustard today!

had mine for 10 years great saw another good saw the 365

wouldn't touch stihl saws with a long one, but cant fault their blowers and hedge cutters, just prefer husq saws, one mans meat and all that

 

I take it Stihl bars are acceptable though?

touche, lol, i got that bar for a tenner brand new, had been kicking round the workshop for years and fitted my old dolmar perfectly
