i cut up a poplar 36 inch at the bowl with a o24 with a 16 inch bar it fell over in the wind i had no problem i will post pic tomorrow if u guys want to see them so that 088 should make lite work off that lol

Or did you chunk it? which is ok but takes time and makes a lot of wast:thumbdown:

Dean READ his post he said CUT UP not fell!! the tree fell over in the wind!!

 

Yes of cause you can fell 2.5 times guild bar, big saws are for ringing up or slabbing down, IMO.

didnt chunk it just took about 2 inches off either side in a v shape, then cut it form either side did wonder how i was do it. when i looked at the job, for some reason it didnt seem that big when i priced it lol i will posts pic
