The trimmer attachment works fine on the Echo, just dont try and trim with the extra (3rd) extension pole, it'll snap the drive shaft! And a tip for the mere mortals on here, the Echo is a hefty beast to wave around for any length of time :biggrin:

 

that applies to all long extending hedge clippers, do that at reach for a few hours is a good shoulder workout!:biggrin:

Stihl is by far the best pole pruner with it's 12" bar and picco mini micro chain. However, although you can fit the hedge cutter attachment to it, and it will work, it voids the warranty as it dmages the shaft.

That's prob why we had a damaged shaft on one of ours:thumbdown:

No its not:001_tt2: Echo is far better and you can use the hedge cutter attachment without voiding the 2 year warranty
