Bit of a story behind this.

 

Was at work today, My Foreman went up a Sycamore that was to section fell, there was a fence under it that 18 months" Cutting and holding has it place sure but...........

 

Would you guys (experienced climbers) really cut and hold 2 inches from your hand??

 

God no! There are plenty of convenient alternative cuts to give a 'hang-on' peice so you can drop your saw. When I see climbers do this -it gives me the shitz. Sorry but a poor excuse. ( You are right-because youre inexperienced- is irrellevant )
