It saves you from havign to mess with the velcro wrap evertime you re attach to it.

 

ok cheers i fought it may have been something to do with the eye interfering with the spiderjack:thumbup:

whats the benefit of useing a karabiner then cut away strap then karabiner to spliced eye insted of just one Karabiner?

 

Its easier to use it left handed.

Yep, what rupe said. Makes the change over a bit easier and quicker. No undoing the crab sliding the eye in then re doing the velcro. Just un-clip change over and re-attach. Although i would recommend having the crab the other way round to how i had it in my video. Just better to have the gate in the open space rather than close to the running end.
