i had a good look at some of the harkie range today, first thing that comes to the eye is how well made it is. The smock looks bombproof, really tough outer material, good zip's, taped seams, really impressed so i ordered one. The harness looks like a real comfortable affair, plenty of padding on the back and leg loops. The gaffs look awesome, the steels ones are a bit on the heavy side but the aluminium ones are probaly half the weight, both have really deep felt lined padding and plenty of support in the stirrup. Just wish i had more cash to spend :(

Now then, just a quick post to see what you think of the Harkie products so far. Those of you who have seen the equipment, what were your thoughts, :thumbup1::thumbdown:

And those of you who have already purchased, a harness, smock etc does it meet up to your expectations?

We are keen to know the good and bad points to help us with the development of these and new products for the range.

Thanks all for your time:thumbup:

Phil, i'm well pleased with the smock, breathability and waterproof levels are excellent, the only gripe i have is the height of the collar at the front, i think it would be better cut lower at the front because it can't be zipped all the way up and it gets caught under ear muff's when they are pushed down, other than that i'm well impressed :) a thumbs up from me
