Our stove is roaring away on black diamonds. Who says burning house coal on a stove is not right. On a wet and wild day like today house coal is king

It is a big house. All very nice until you have to heat it!

Especially as it was built before they invented insulation.

 

Plenty of logs, none of them dry

We've been lighting it most evenings still, but our house is always cold.
