Which knot for hitchclimber?

I will be honest I am rubbish with knots.

 

I have just brought some ocean polyester without the eyes and just wondered which knot to use instead.

Tie two fisher mans at one end, wrap your rope in a vt 3 wrap 3 braid configuration and then tie another fisher mans, cut off rest of tail and tape up to stop them getting in the way.

valdataine knot, not sure how to spell it, and two fishermans knots, You could also use a distil hitch, scabish knot, try them all and find out the best one for your climbing

Just one more thing how long should the ocean polyester length be? Does 90cm sound about right.

are you talking before or after you have put the end line knots in?
