I once dismantled a large lormbardy for an old lady for free after she had been ripped off ,they put a ladder up as far as they could get and just slashed a great big limb off which went thru the next door neighbours bungalow roof, they then conned her into handing over the cash "so they could repair the roof" and she never saw them again. Think they stung her for about £2k.Job was prob worth around £400.Scumbags make you sick

Dose anyone no who the tree expert guy is?

It's a shame we couldn't see him climb!

The expert said the willow prune should be a maximum of £600, I'm I misunderstanding that or is that a lot for a small pruning job?

Cheers ciaran glyde

I think he meant for the entire job, the tree felling, willow and cherry prune.

Hate these types, theres no problem in charging what you like but blagging people and praying on them is a flogging offence at least.

nice arb truck though but it has not earnt it legitimately

If he gave a price to do the work and its accepted.......not legit? Yes he was expensive, he talked the work up, he one-handed a 200t, he trashed the brash in the truck (we always used to years ago) he had tantrums (I know some who do) slightly lacking in basic ppe (I know a lot who wear less!) and his facts werent strictly accurate.

Did he have PLI? they didnt say.... Did he have any tickets? They didnt say... at least he's working, and not scounging bennys
