Is there anything more frustrating than grabbing for your trusted handsaw only to find it has come loose from the sheath and fallen to the floor?

Could you do without wasting time collecting it or worst case have to replace an expensive tool that has been lost or broken on impact?

Thats the gayest and most american sales line I have ever heard!!

Looks like it may be of use to some people.

Interestingly, just about every commercial user working with tools from any height or work platform above 2.5 metres now needs a Phat Strop to comply with health & safety general duties of care.

Could you point us in the direction of the specific part of the legislation which requires this, please?

not wanting to pee on anyones parade but.... i'd be a little concerned about the use of bungee material as opposed to a static strop. the idea of a razor sharp silky pinging back across my ropes or hands or any other part of my body doesnt fill me with confidence. can you ease my concerns?

Dave it won't ping back up, the bungee is to absorb the fall, we tested it with Chris as I had the same concerns.:001_smile:

You wouldn't want it coming up and causing a scar.:sneaky2::001_smile:

Id like to see that as well as one it could be false advertising.Forcing people to buy it to stay with in the law.

I hope your just mean that all tools have to have some type of connector to the user above 2.5m and you have put the PHAT stop in there for this reason,

Just to be clear,

I am not suggesting anything about the marketing of the Phat Strop.

I was questioning the OP whether all tools used above 2.5 m high had to be tethered, by law. :001_smile:
