Veteren tree/fungi tour september 2011

Recommended Posts

I have a small field, two yurts (12 and 24 ft), a smal geo-dome and approx 20ft from my door is a holiday cottage owned by my neighbours. They normally hire it for long weekends and weeks but perhaps I could arrange something. I could possibly provide sleeping space for 8-20 depending on how much comfort one desires, the cottage sleeps another 5 I believe.

You're also more than welcome to bring a tent.

That my good man is a very decent offer:001_cool:

As soon as ive got a ball park on numbers i will get back to you.

so anyone want to go and split the costs of some overnight accommodation? save the long drive in the morning and be up for a good hike?

I'm not too keen on off road yurting for the night, but as lond as I can get a hot shower in the morning then I'm up for chipping in with the over night accomodation, wherever that may be.

The cottage is about £120 for a weekend I believe, but I may be able to fidddle a discount for just the one night.

The yurts are basic, but feature woodburners and are only mildly off-road, well within sight of my kitchen window, so I can positively assure you that a hot shower is within the possibilities :001_cool: we won't need any payment for them, but a little advise on my new home (since july). I've planted 2Ha of trees this winter and we have a small spinney with about 20-30 mature oaks in wich I might like to reduce in numbers, or not....? Having an expert panel on site would be renumeration aplenty.

I will almost certainly take up a yurt for the weekend, and give you all the advice you could ask for, :001_smile:

There's a double bed, a single and a bunk-bed, so four or five.

I rented it when the outlaws came to stay over the easter weekend and got charged £60 for one night, but I can't guarantee anything as they normally only rent it out to "Jaguar Enthousiast Club" members, and we all know what they get up to:lol:
