Fantastic saw.

I borrowed one from a friend and took it out to fell some big chestnuts. Felled a fair few trees with it and i loved it. 24" bar on it which made it tip heavy but a 20" balances it up. Lots of power and the anti vibe is fantastic. Worth every

penny.

The 372 which the 576 replaces was a fantastic saw. The 576 had big boots to fill but managed to do it and do it very well.

I bought an Autotune version as a replacement for a Stihl 441- it was an absolutely fantastic saw until it was stolen with my other saws. I ran it with an 18in bar which is a brilliant combination to throw around, felt a little bit less clumsy than the 441. For the 4 months I had it, it was faultless :001_rolleyes:

Current level of funds and an unwillingness to buy top of the range gear if it's going to disappear again has meant I've bought a 365 (farmer spec/ non xp) which is a good old fashioned robust growler, but I do miss the grunt and zing of the 576, which charged through everything!

The 575 was ment to replace the 372 but it wasn't as good so the 372 was still made. 576 has superseeded both. I think it's on its last legs now before they stop making it. The new 562xp will replace the 357.

But the 372 has not been replaced yet!:001_huh:
