but!!!! Just done nigh on 6 weeks work for someone one on here, 2man crew, truck n chipper. seem to have been bounced for the money! Not a happy family as i'm sure you can imagine!

Any work in gloucestershire would be much appreciated. Tractor, winch, climber, truck, chipper etc available.

When you say bounced for the money,do you mean the cheque bounced,or other?

do you have payment conditions in place that the guy knows about, if its a days graft i let the person know that i want to be payed at the end of the day.

 

i have worked for a couple of arbtalkers on here, yes they are good mates but work is work and they respect that, if its a couple of weeks work then my payment conditions are that i get payed within 7days or at the end of the week.

 

whilst some folk are a bit slow at getting payment sent there could be many reasons for not sending payment, some bizniz's are busier than others.

 

try not to tar the next guy with the same brush, maybe put a contract in place stating what your payment procedures are and both sign it
