the Farm 2000 boiler is about £7k. Very expensive IMO.

That would probably be about the same cost as two years oil to heat my place:scared1:

Big boilers do come up S/H from time to time.

i have a log burner and have you really thought about cost

if i did not burn it i could sell it

i use tons of the stuff as its free

if i had sold what i used last year approx 7-9 ton that would have been a lot of oil or gas

and as fuel prices go up so will logs £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££

As an arborist, I'm always running out of firewood because I have NO TIME....

Pellets may cost, but they are sustainable, carbon nuetral, convenient and clean....

so what happens to all that wood you cut down??:confused1:

The only reason logs are cheap is because we have them, but with cut and split logs making £60 a cube, how do pellets compare price wise? I see that some of those new-fangled eco-type houses have had the pellet-fuelled systems installed.

You only need a heat tank if you are burning firewood, the pelet master will run a 4 bed house with 2 bathrooms on aound 3 tone of pellets a year, think of the savings over oil, I know you still need to buy the boiler but the return is quick. It also fits right into you original heating system with little plumbing
