Fighting properly that will be with those 16oz gloves on :blushing:

MMA is the real deal, and that why it's taking over where boxing left off.

MMA is the only system in the world that includes all aspects of a fight, that being a real fight where you can fight on the ground. Kickboxing is for girls and Thai boxing is a few notches above that.

AND YES I AM A FAN AND HAVE BEEN SINCE 1998.

MMA is not a system though is it(although some are now making it such), its a general concept. Arts have been been around since pankration in 646BC that use all ranges in the fight.

Kali being another that has 12 sub section arts within the main art incorporating all ranges of the fight, any warrior art had stand up and ground fighting techniques because they knew the fight could go anywhere.

Thai boxing deserves massive respect as a total devastating art in its own right and most of your top class mma fighters were acomplished thai fighters.

i like anything where they fight:thumbup:

thai boxing is my favourite sport of all....for the style, and everything else associated with it. i dont think anyone can deny that mma is the ultimate fighting style though

I have enjoyed all, and liked K1 when it was the rage Thai has always had a better more brutal aspect to it which i enjoy.

But if you like full contact and want to see someone get there windpipe collapsed then MMA is where it's at.

But remember jiu-jitsu plays a big part in it and that's my thing.

Two video's of my heroes

Marcelo Garcia

Demian maia
