nice area round there, i worked for a contractor doing roadside clearance along main south road which runs from adelaide down towards kangaroo island. Plenty of wineries in the adelaide hills if ya like a drink and if your into motorsports there is the V8 street racing held in the city and an excellent motocross track just outside mclaren vale.

Drink plenty of water and you may have to relearn how to pace yourself. With the time difference and climate I wish you the very best, by the way I know all about the really hot weather from SW Florida in the summer.

Yeah easy-lift-guy... I'm hoping my body climatises quickly so I'm ready for their summer but who knows. I know it's gonna be a killer but I like hard work haha. I remember last summer when we had the hottest day in like 10 years or something at 32 degrees here in the UK and I was on the biggest ball ache of a job ever... and it absolutely killed me for work the next day!!

Forgot to say.. you have to have a Pie Floater when you have had a 'few' schooners.

 

There are rules with Pie floaters...

 

1. Never have one when sober!

2. Always have vinegar, salt & Pepper & ketchup

3. Wash down with Ice Coffee from can

4. Never have one when sober!

 

For those who dont know a Pie Floater is a meat pie floating in a sea of mushy peas.

 

We went to a street vendor in central Adelaide when out on the beer, that night we also went to a 'dancing' venue called the Crazy Horse. Quality night...
