Fungi around the House

......well, in the garden actually :biggrin:

 

 

These have been popping up at my gaff, at various times over the last three years.

 

Any one else have close encounters of the fungal kind, at home ?

 

 

Boletus (Xerocomus sp) in me front garden

Trametes versicolor, Turkey tail - on an Oak carving

Coprinus disseminatus, Fairy Inkcap - on me patio

& from today, Reticularia (Enteridium) lycoperdon, Slime mould - on hollow oak stump

Spotted that the other day on old oak stump hadn't seen for a while.

 

Regarding wood chip did some clearance for the highways the other year and spread the wood chip, the following year sent back to strim and there were a fair number of bee orchids grown through the chip

What a fantastic find! I'm not really an orchidophile, but I'm still envious. Great pics.
