im nervous about ebay.... i had too many bad experiences a few years ago with items unrelated to arb - and i'm too sceptical about condition of machines, or the origins of said machines to trust it... especially with chainsaws and other arb gear

there arn't many more bargins left on ebay anymore with regards to chainsaws etc.... its usually trhe place for people to get rid of there old machines for good money.... there are now and again a few bargins to be had though, but i would be very wary......

Walford cross sale is coming up, which isnt far from me. Biggest dead stock/implameent auction in the southwest apparently. Always hedge trimmers, saws and what not there for sale along with alsorts of other shite. 5000+lots usually.

I always go along, but things seem to go for the price i could pick them up new, so dont usually buy anything unless its an unusaul item!

Look at Cheffins machinery auctions in cambridge and Bristol, big list at both.

see Cheffins - Estate Agents, Property Advisors and Auctioneers

and see Used Machinery & Equipment | Used Tractors | Used Trailers | Used Trucks - Mascus UK

There is also a machinery sale in Truro a lot of dealers use.

The sales lists for MOD and ex council machines can be found locally, but local dealers to you will have the machines you want so ask them.

The cheeky blighters Tom!! That really takes the biscuit!!

Will check out all of the mentioned auctions - always good to see what kit is going, in case either a bargain pops up, or something useful!
