Relax and work hard, look for things to do, don't be afraid to ask, take enough to eat and drink. Wear the right clothing and footwear, expect to get the jobs nobody likes and complete them as if they were for your Mum and then remember, that's how you've to be forever more. A trial is how they expect you to work when they are not there too!

Relax,Good Luck and best wishes!

Well I'm pleased to say all went well, had really good day. :-)

Glad to hear it :thumbup1:. But if you still have the energy to type after your first day then they didn't work you hard enough!

Use MS880 for everything. Do everything big, it's a high risk high reward strategy! 60mph is the minimum speed limit. Ask for a pay rise on day two. Ask if the boss has grown up daughters.

haha i dint get what u was talking about, dint have a clue what a ms880 was. just reading threw old post en thought this was actualy quiet funny

my only advice on top of the other posts is not to assume or ask what time you finnish - i have had a few guys come for a trial and the one thing that gets me above all it when when im asked if its time to pack up yet or as in one case - 4.15 came along and the guy started loading the kit inot the truck !!!
