sorry but if a brand is using .5mm thinner than the competition to market itself then i'm not going to look any further,,,,really,,, is that the best they can do??

Well, I don't know, as far as a tablet goes it's got all if not a little more functionality than an Ipad. Also, If the laptops that Samsung are currently knocking out are anything to go by then they've got the integration of components pretty much bang on. The lush thing about apple used to be that everything was built and coded to work in an intuitive fashion. Now it's lost it's exclusivity in that field.

It's "a one of them..." I'd rather do graphics on a mac any day of the week but for people who just want a laptop/desktop/tablet it's needless to go for apple exclusively because it looks good when there's plenty other options out there. It's like using an 88 to chop down a granny conifer. Overkill. :001_smile:

the speculation that apple will release ipad 3 in aug/ sep is based entirely on media hype that if apple move the launch time to september then they will benefit from pre christmas sales.

Now, much of the hype involved what will and what will not be on i pad 2. most of what was being toted as being toted as going to be on ipad 3 is actually on i pad 2..

the tooling alone to create the 2 will have cost rather alot,, they need to recoup that investment, then make a profit BEFORE consigning it to the bin to make tooling for ipad 3. it does not make business sense at all to ditch the model 5 months after launch

IF anything, there will be additiions to the 2 line,, ie bigger memory, but i REALLY doubt there will be a whole new model,,,

to give an idea,, just to make the tooling to produce a new sole print for a line of trainers is well in excess of £150k. that's JUST the soles,,,,,, do the math
