She's a LWB u300 with a demountable timber crane on the back. I've only had it a week and yesterday was the first outing

very smart. how does the crane store when you are driving, over the cab with the grab in the box or hooked on the front like a roof mount ?

 

how do you find the 3 point linked crane is it stable enough ?

Yes the crane is on the linkage so it will come on and off when needed.

 

I may get a chipper for the front at some point for now it will have a tow behind. I'm going to run it for a month and the change a few bits about once I know the machine. Firstly a tarp roof to stop the chips going every where but being able to remove it when the crane comes into play.

 

I'm not sure if it's stretched or not I can have a look at the paper work.

 

Is it a euro 4 ? Nice tool that linkage crane looks like it has a bit of reach too . I only ask if its stretched as the wheel base looks a little longer than our u500 we are also in the first week of running

The crane has one more section left to extend than what's in the picture.

 

I'm not to sure of the full lifting capacity it seemed pretty stable yesterday.
