nice trekk from southampton!! How did you get up here? drive? or fly?

 

Ha we drive up its not to bad become a regular trip for us now almoast fortnightly since the begining of the year its worth the trip wen you see some good progress and talk through the next stage of the build

I've clocked a few miles looking at mogs, well buying!

I remember the first time , heading off myself about 5 am with a giant rd atlas and no clue where I was going and I accidentally found Alec's yard, his old 1 by the river in that tiny village, High Bentham I think.

The last 2 I bought off the internet, save the journey.

Mog men are cool to deal with imo:)

Yeah thats right my dad brought our first one u140l from alex was built up in his bentham work shop that must have been 12- 13 odd years ago never saw the old yard was still in school .... four mogs later still making the trip

 

This u400 just awaiting a chip box was also in will have a nice trailer in tow with atlas crane on draw bar

You know it makes sense.

Mines been working all week, domestic jobs that I couldn't of done without.

Big hedges where the 8" chipper ate easily, connie stumps which I ripped out with the Hiab, tip sites in fields, then today it was a mobile platform and then I did that ivy infested elm in 2 cuts.

This set up is certainly the best I've had. Cabs rough, that's the only thing. Apart from that she's almost Arb perfect imo
