Its the same sort of instance as why we started the Iraq war. Oil and a nasty dictator ruling the country. I wonder how many of our troops will be sent over there.

I don't so much have an issue with going into these countries as a peace keeping force but what gets my goat is the fact that we only worry about the oil producing countries. We don't worry about China, which has an appalling human rights record, nor various other middle eastern countries. Neither is the UK willing to sort out its own home grown problems before trying to sort out everybody elses. And will the allies get any thanks for this? Course they won't. It'll be just another case of interfering busybodies unfortunately.
