What winch for my trailer?

Can anyone recommend a winch for me to fit to my tipping trailer. I want it to be able to pull my cs100 up the ramps and mowers etc. Hasn't got to be able to pull lots of weight 2000lbs would be more than enough.

 

Just wondering what others use.

We have a relatively old Superwinch on our IW.

 

tbh, it doesn't get used much is handy that it's on.

 

 

not actualy sure of the model, can't see any info on it

 

will see if i've got the manual lurking anywhere.

a 3 in 1 system with some old rope would do it save you the expense of a winch.

I have superwinch models atv2000 and LT2500 both are good winches, LT2500 was the easier to wire, I have it mounted on a tow hitch mounting so I can drop it on the back of the landy for moving smaller stuff around with it,

max, a cheap ATV winch will be perfect,, at present i'm using a 3:1 pulley system,, it's a PITA but it's cheap.. if i was keeping my chipper i'd be putting on a little atv number for sure..

I have fitted a Champion 4500lb winch to the front of my tipping trailer. £160 ish brand new off ebay and wireless remote available. Will pull my TW125 up the ramps no bother. Ideal for getting all the gear to a job in one trip.

Thanks folks. Want to be able to get the chipper on my own, at present its a pita time consuming job for one person. Need to be able to guide it and winch at the same time really.

will try and remember tomorrow,, it's pretty simple ,, but make it way easier to tie down to the trailer,,,
