Smooth climbing

Welcome Joe, you are a master indeed. :)

Steve you will need a swivel on your bridge of the harness, if not the spider jack will sit off, the Velcro is annoying , when you have loads of rope below it will constantly choker around the stem which is a pest, and don't undo it expecting if to stay there, it will shoot down the rope and leave you to free climb down the tree lol.

Used mine now for 2 days on about 8 trees and im as impressed with this bit of kit as i was when i used my ropeguide for the 1st time. Much better than my lockjack swivel, found it readily advances on a long pull although when i was working above my anchor point it did seem to bind tight towards it. Really pleased with this bit of kit as i had thoughts about my lockjack sitting there collecting dust. I ended up setting it up like you have Joe as it seemed to 'feel' better as i was climbing on it rather than just one crab.

Know what you mean Dodger, I'd be screaming 'Slow down, I've got £600 on this!'

you sound like my boss mark!

Ihave to confess, this video has truly shown the potential of the system, even though it has been set up in "optimal conditions"

I think this may well be the trick i need to continue being rapid for another ten years.:thumbup1:
