Any advice......?

Got and abs and brake warning light staying on, replaced brake pads all round and brake wear sensors, still the lights stay on !?:sneaky2:

the servo is fine no leaks anywhere in the system the truck stops on a penny passed mot bar these warning lights

checked reservoir and no sticking at float etc........

also load braking system on back axle

I went to 'grays truck' and the parts bloke looked up sensors for abs and said it didnt have any but the workshop said it was the sensor on the phonic wheel, I understand what it does and where it is supposed to be.

Downloaded a manual and on the bigger trucks they have phonic wheels but no mention for the 35c

Question : Am I going mad , can any one tell me for sure if I have a 'phonic wheels ????

surely if I did, there would be more than the brake wear sensor wire out of each wheel to send the info to my ecu...?

cant see anything when I remove brakes but before I get the right size hub socket and remove disk can anyone confirm?

or is it just a case of getting ecu reset

ye old arbtalk font of knowledge

if it has ABS then there must be some form of "phonic wheel" at each wheel/hub to tell the ABS system what that wheel is doing.

if it doesn’t have ABS then you wont have phonic wheel" at each wheel/hub.

Other than that I cannot help. :001_rolleyes:

I may ring up 'grays' on Monday and try and order some and see what they tell me.

surely if It did there would be tell tale wire from the back of each brake disk...?

It failed because of a warning light :confused1:

No, it didn’t fail because of a warning light, the warning light was illuminated indicating there is a problem with the brakes.

It failed because there is a problem with the brakes.
