Not used one myself, but they are always described as one of the fasted loading cranes there is, so as long as its positioned correctly I would imagine it would be great.

Everything about their design and operation lends itself to chipping with their parallelogram linkage. However, the trade off I should think, is folding it for transport vs the more 'conventional' types

Thanks for the links , i do like crane cam

It does seem to be working well , in one shot you can see the linkage working well

I use an old botex at the moment , just wondering what the remote option is like to use i suppose you will get used to it

As already said their parallel lift is what makes them idea for crane feeding. I can tell you that is a bit of a pain loading with a botex. However a Botex will lift you more than a MOWI, not that is an isuue when chipping.

Think I was quoted an additional 8k for the remote option

the mowi crane is great to work with, i have just picked up an older 1 and i am very pleased with it.

I do know of a 3 years old botex 360tl on a trailer, it is the 3 point linkage version. It is very clean and hasnt done much. It is £8k plus vat. pm me if you are interested.
