genuine or non genuine

Personally, I would always try to salvage the OEM cylinder first as the plating and construction of the Mahle cylinders will be better than a low cost non original but if the plating has been scored through then the £60 option sounds a reasonable option.

The owner at Mister Solutions is Andy Holtham - a good guy and an honest bloke - you could try phoning him and asking how many he has done and if he has had any returns!

I would inspect any non genuine parts and ensure clearances and finish are acceptable before fitting.

I rebuilt a 660 about 6 months ago with non gen and havnt had any probs so far and no difference in power or torque.

Done a few saws over the years with non gen pots etc, some from mister solutions and some from garden hire spares (both on the bay) had no problems and just as good as genuine stuff IMO.

Just make sure you get the Nicksel coating and not the chrome afm ones.

BB 066 NWP, This cylinder assembly is NiSi coated for long life. The piston is Moly coated and comes with ductile iron piston rings. Piston and cylinder kits have a 1 year warranty from date of purchase.

Owner of the 98cc 064/066 stock saw running it as he learns to cold start. Pulling 9T sprocket and also pulled a 10T. So no lack of torque in the kit, in the small wood testing.
