just got a quote from one of the sponsors (online form type scenario)

 

0ne @ 745 the other@ 445

 

I put in 10k as turnover as I havent started yet and first year will be slow and part time, surveys single tree reports, no subsidence till im clued up on it.

 

who do you use for pro indemnity and why?

In case you say to the customer, "No, it's fine. It'll never fall down!" Then the next day.... Crash! Right on top of their Mercedes.

 

That was my thinking of it anyway. As for who? Well I'm still looking at that one myself...

Tony, i have PI & PL as a package from trust i think my PI was around the £700 quid mark for 2,000,000 cover. Although if a contract i had didn't tell me it had to be that high id probably have it around the £500,000 mark.

 

I did get a quote from some others but found trust to be the most helpful and even called me back at a time to suit me unlike one that thought i must be at home at midday (left 4 messages mon-thurs)

well ive got quoted 445 for 2,000,000 PIndemnity which sounds o.k to me, considering im only saying 10k turnover as a guess for this year.

They are really good and very good with price when i add things to the policy too.

 

Sounds like a good price too.

sounds about right. Think mine is around 300 for 1 million cover.
