Cheers for the info. I am a true begginer. I thought there was mushrooms and toadstools and they grew in poop. My eyes are now wide open. I have a thirst.

in years to come, through that thirst and from observations your view of the wooded world will be irreversibly changed.

Im glad youve found the pleasure, its so much fun.:001_cool:

monkey, not a criticism... but...

i love using the fungi directory but find it very hard to use, especially the search feature which is that what its for, searching fungi?

what i mean is when someone on here posts a pic of fung i try to find the name of it and first of all fgo to the gallery, then search by a-z, then try to find it by keywords describing that fungus, i have started noticing spelling mistakes which is why when i am searching for things that i know to be true, things don't pop up

(i have found words like bracket spelt braket, cinnamon spelt cinamon and a few others i would have to go back and check..

so don't get me wrong, it is NOT a criticism but i think if the search tool could be utilised better maybe more people would use it:blushing:

Lets not mince the intent.

that is a fine peice of criticism, and I'm grateful for it.

Points taken onboard :thumbup1:

out of interest Rob, have you tried viewing it through the David Humphries’s Gallery Hall

feature.

ftr, lots of people are using it, just check the numbers against the individual galleries.

But very few are leaving comments on them, good or bad :confused1:
