people say parts are hard to get every other saw i run is a echo aprt from the chipper saws i have a echo hedge trimmer and one grass strimmer i ware the heads of on the strimmer and if i need parts i have a local dealr that can get me any part for any echo with in one week he can get parts for almost any make of tools

I have owned a makita dcs4610 and was not impressed at all. My Dad has a Husky 136 which believe it or not was only designed to last 100 man hours but it has done more than that and is still going strong.

 

Despite being about 5 years older than the Makita the husky 136 was a better saw. So as a result, from your suggested list I would say Husky 236.

 

I have no experience with echo's so can't comment on them.

Echo is the best machine in the class but worst for parts. Echo simply not interested in product support (or should I say Countax).:thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown:

 

GREENSTRIPE.NET CLICK PARTS DRAWRINGS CLICK ECHO for Echo spares got bit a year ago nobody near me had got.
