Liberalism gone mad!

For argument's sake, we got the Julian calendar in 45BC, we got the Gregorian Calendar we now use as recently as 1582...

so what's a year? what means did people of that period have of defining age beyond guessing or picking a 'big number'? and could it be something else lost in translation?

I'm still struggling to see how this 100% disproves God, because what you have said (man made God) is not fact, it is opinion,

How can i say it is opinion? Because it cannot be 100% proved. Just as you cannot 100% dissprove that "God made man"

Actually it can be proved simply by studying the history of christianity and the reasons behind it....christianity, a self admitted 'belief' and 'faith' proves it.:001_smile:

Again you have proved my point for me!!

A totally non tangible IDEA has made something that is now claimed to be 'TRUTH'.

for arguments sake you sell me a chainsaw, i send you the money, you post it to me.......you tell me its in the post....i have no FAITH in your word neither do i BELIVE that you have sent it.....Does this make it any less true that you have sent it:thumbup:

My comment will probably get lost in this long debate, but one of the butlers, please answer me this...

As you believe in a young earth, how do you explain dinosaur fossils and footprints? I would of thought bloody huge flesh eating t-rex's running about would of been quite a big part of the bible....

and did the ark contain dinosaurs? surely it did if it contained 2 of every animal, if so, where the hell did they go???

i'll ask another question if you reply, cheers.

Oh so the animals on this earth walked in 2x2 and did not attack/eat each each species:lol:

It has now been proved that when the sea moved back to allow Moses to cross it was a tsunami.

I am amazed to still see this thread here.

Certain religions have a response to everything.:001_rolleyes:

Quite right butler- its been raging for 2 millenia, and although one of the best debates on the forum for a long time, it has started to get a bit boring now.:thumbup1:
