The best IMO is ay-up, they are from Australia, my mates brother invented it, they are twin adjustable beam xenon. these are the mutz balls. made of aluminium and include charger, can also fit a mountain bike. They are however not the cheapest on the market,they are the best made, mine is 3 years old, its worn every morning in winter, and call outs etc, its very waterproof and very bright.

I think I got my first petzl Zoom in about 1986!! Had many since but still prefer petzl as I consider everything else to be copies, even though they are all perfcetly good.

I have loads of head torches all cheap chinese copies all do a fair job. Just bought one made by Ring for £5 supper bright and lasts for 1000 hrs cant imagine spending alot more money. mine tend to get lost squashed or covered in diesel.
