Ok 2 cuts plus the coronets

 

Not sure how much longer it will stay standing. May come back in a few years and make another 2 cuts if it gets worse

Coronet cuts. Basically looks much more natural than a standard/pruning cut. Looks like the limb/top has snapped. Much better for bugs n beasties.

nope. I didn't climb it so on close up. He just back but until it split out then chopped up the flat cut. Looked pretty natural

Yep, I'd say Inonotus but I've not seen it on this tree yet.
