tree ID (see who knows)

went to a job this morning found this really intrestin tree at first i thought it was a big yew, then the woman come out and asked me what it was so i went to have a closer look

so the lady said it goes that colour every winter before coming out green

i just wondered if anyone wanted to have a stab at it

Looks like a Redwood of some sort. Maybe a Sequoia. Not too good on firs.

sequoiadendron sempervirens? Although not so semper in the pic.

Looks like Sequoia sempervirens but I've never seen one go that colour!

sempervirens with frost damage ?? Cupressus arizonica or glabra ??

sequoia sempervirens thats what i thought and belive it to be but i could not work out why it goes that colour so the lady said its done that since shes lived there over 25 years

and i think the 2nd one is cupressus glabra pyramidalis but not shore

#2 a cypress but torn between what one (hinoki, monterey, smooth arizona????)
