I just got one of these heads for my brushcutter, and it seems to be the best way to tackle those bramble patches in gardens or around the trees, and it literally mulches them right down. Not bad for around the £30 mark.http://www.brogio.co.uk/

Hi, we run one of these on a stihl fs80, with very good results. Great on bracken, bramble, saplings etc. Doesn't leave such a good finish on grass and thinner stuff though. Not to harsh round fences and stuff, as long as you don't go flat out. Think the fs80 is only around 25cc.

They do different lengths chains for different size cc machines if you use then on a husky you will need a spacer washer as the hole size is different than a stihl work great on bracken and brambles but as Luke said they don’t work so well on grass

23cc to 45cc machines require 5 links

45cc to 55cc machines 7 links

above 55cc will run 9 links

so yes Steve, my 26cc 4stroker will run the 5 link version fine, and does. and it absolutely demolishes brambles, awesome.

Got one on a husky 250 - dogs whatsits on brambles bracken and in amongst stones - as others have said not too hot on grass and does not like rushes at all.

Does send a fair amount of material whizzing backwards so definately need good protection on the eyes and the other essentials - not that any of us wouldn't already have that of course:001_smile:

Cheers
