Ash dismantle

An Ash dismantle from this week, Q was the climber on this one, as there was no way i'd be able to dismantle it in half a day.

Everything was lowered to the chipper to make it easier on the ground crew and reduce clean up on the ground.

Half a day, good going lad!

Old Q-tip is a smooth and quick climber for sure! Having big kit plenty of ground crew and getting the chipper practically under the tree helped to.

It was a building site, we had to go through an induction, method statements etc etc, then we forgoten to bring our nptc tickets so we could'nt start till we had them. 11:30 we started and left at 4:30 with an hours lunch in between.

Looks a nice job.

Bit of a schoolboy error on leaving the cards for site work though!:001_tongue:

Times money. I insist all staff carry cards at all times. Photocopies of everyones certs are in the folder in the van with copies of loler and risk assessments and method statement.

Its all a PITA but yards of paperwork are the norm these days.

looks a nice and smooth operation, 1 question marc.........how does Q attach his 200t in pic 5?

by the chain break?

Yes by the brake to a petzl caritool, it can mess the brake up though eventually.

We did an Ash today also, although without the blue sky in your pictures. I'll try to get on youtube by late tonight.
