on the stihl site 200t is priced at £660 with 12" bar...

 

Husqvarna list the 346xp as being £644.99 + VAT for the 18" bar - mine cost me nearer £450 for the same saw at a local dealer, can't remember offhand what the exact price was but around that area. That's nearly £200 difference!

 

i paid 580inc vat for my 346xpg with a 15inch bar

RRP is exactly what it says, RECOMMENDED retail price. Realistically the dealers can charge whatever price they want. If you look at nearly all our products and Stihls for that matter you will rarely pay the full RRP. Without checking the price lists the T540XP and the MS200T are as near as dammit the same RRP.

Just been speaking to a largeish dealer in the south west, who is expecting them fairly imminently......around the time that the annual price rise comes in....usually at the end of feb. He also reckons that the price will be a teensy bit lower than he is knocking 200's out for....
